To export your Crypto.com App history for taxes, open the Accounts page, tap the History icon at the top right, then Export. Choose Token Wallet, set the start and end dates, and tap Export to CSV. Do the same for your Cash Wallet and, if you have one, your Crypto.com Visa Card. Each report can cover up to 3 years, and downloads stay available for 30 days.
Before you start: App or Exchange?
Crypto.com has two separate products with separate exports:
- Crypto.com App: the mobile app most people use to buy, sell, earn and spend. This guide's main steps are for the App.
- Crypto.com Exchange: the trading platform. Its trade and account statements are exported separately (see below).
If you used both, you need both sets of files.
Crypto.com's own tax calculator, Crypto.com Tax, is no longer a Crypto.com product: the Crypto.com Tax site now points users to a third-party service. You will need your CSV files and a tax tool or accountant.
Step by step: export your Token Wallet (crypto) history
These steps follow Crypto.com's help article on exporting App transaction history (dated July 2026).
- Open the Crypto.com App and go to the Accounts page.
- Tap the History icon at the top right.
- Tap Export at the top right.
- Select Token Wallet.
- Choose the start date and end date (both dates are included). One report covers up to 3 years.
- Tap Export to CSV.
- When the report is ready, tap Download.
Export your Cash Wallet and Card history
- Cash Wallet (fiat): on the Cash Wallet page, tap Export at the top right, choose the dates, tap Export to CSV, then Download. These rows show money in and out, and often your crypto purchases with fiat.
- Crypto.com Visa Card: go to the Card tab, tap More, then Settings, then Export Transaction History. Choose Crypto.com Card, set the dates, tap Export to CSV and download the file.
Card spending can matter for taxes: if you top up the card with crypto, that conversion is a disposal of crypto in most countries. Card cashback paid in crypto may be treated as a rebate or as income depending on your country; ask a tax professional.
Limits to know
| Item | What Crypto.com's help page says |
|---|---|
| Wallets | Token Wallet, Cash Wallet and Card are separate exports |
| Range per report | Up to 3 years |
| Export history | Shows your last 30 generated reports |
| Download availability | 30 days from the export date |
| Format | CSV |
If your account is older than three years, create one report per three-year block, for example 2020–2022 and 2023–2025, plus one for 2026.
Crypto.com Exchange statements
If you traded on Crypto.com Exchange, follow Crypto.com's separate help article for the Exchange. It describes monthly trade statements (every trade executed in a month) and monthly account statements (trades, deposits, withdrawals and fees), both as CSV. For a tax report, collect every month you traded, or connect the Exchange to your tax tool by read-only API if it supports that.
Check the files before you upload
- All three App files. Crypto in the Token Wallet, fiat in the Cash Wallet, and card activity are separate. A tax report built from the Token Wallet alone misses your fiat purchases.
- Earn and rewards rows. Staking, Earn interest and rewards are generally income when received (in the US, ordinary income at fair market value).
- Transfers to your own wallets. A withdrawal to a self-custody wallet such as MetaMask is not a sale, but your tax tool needs the other side of the transfer to see that.
- Date blocks with no gaps if you exported in three-year pieces.
- Closing balances. After import, each coin's balance in your software should match the App.
US customers: Form 1099-DA
If Crypto.com sends you a Form 1099-DA for 2026, remember how the form works under the IRS instructions: it shows cost basis only for covered assets, meaning crypto acquired after 2025 in that account and held there until sale. Coins you deposited from elsewhere, or bought before 2026, show proceeds without basis. Report the correct basis on Form 8949; the US crypto tax guide explains how.
Turn the export into a tax report
Three CSVs from the App, plus Exchange statements and any outside wallets, is exactly the situation tax software is built for. If your activity is only a few buys and one sale, a spreadsheet may be enough.
